Caregiver Education Series: Caring for People with Dementia

North Shore Senior Center is partnering with the Alzheimer's Association to present bi-monthly educational programs for people who are caring for a loved one with dementia. All programs are virtual and completely free. Registration is required. 

 

Effective Communication Strategies

Explore ways that Alzheimer’s and other dementias affect an individual’s ability to communicate across different stages and get tips to better communicate with people living with the disease.

Managing Money: A Caregiver's Guide to Finances

This program will help caregivers learn about the costs of caregiving and the benefits of early planning, and teach you how to avoid financial abuse and fraud, start a conversation about finances, assess financial and legal needs, and find support.
