Since our founding in 1956, North Shore Senior Center has been the go-to resource for older adults and their families in the northern suburbs of Chicago. If you're interested in learning new things, enriching your life, and connecting with others who share your interests, we invite you to explore our abundance of Lifelong Learning classes, clubs, presentations, trips, concerts and events.
If you or a family member need help maintaining an independent lifestyle, we are here for you. Through our many services and programs, Senior & Family Services, along with our affiliate North Shore Senior Options, can connect you with valuable community resources so you can live safely and independently. Our House of Welcome Adult Day Services provides specialized programs for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other types of memory loss.
North Shore Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) organization. It is our policy to not discriminate against any person served or person employed or seeking employment based on age, race, color, disability, pregnancy, ethnicity, national origin, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious tradition or spiritual practice.
