Professional & Community Education Programs
NSSC's Education and Diversity committees provide educational events year round for professionals and community members. Presentations include a wide range of topics relevant to aging, including medical, health & wellness, benefits, community resources, legal and financial matters, caregiving, dementia, diversity and ethics. Professionals can acquire continuing education units by submitting a survey following the event.
Attendance is free. Most programs offer CEUs for LPC/LCPCs and LSW/LCSWs for $10. Registration is required for all events.
Senior Sex: Understanding Physical and Psychological Changes

- Describe the changes related to sex in older adults
- Understand the health benefits of solo and relational sex
- Utilize adaptive strategies for those who are sexually active
