Humanitude: Breakthrough International Care Techniques Workshop
Join us as we bring together Chicago’s senior population and physicians, nurses, therapists and family members for a discussion on aging with dignity.
International care ambassador João Pärtel Araújo, RN, BSN will be here from Portugal to
share his experiences with a set of over 150 innovative techniques from Europe known as the Humanitude methodology. This is a rare opportunity to see how Humanitude has transformed care in countries worldwide, leading to a significant reduction in
anti-psychotic use and achieving improved outcomes for vulnerable populations and those living with dementia. Koelsch Communities is leading the effort to bring Humanitude to
America, with training in Chicago beginning this year. We have invested in a multi-year process of developing the first team of U.S.-based, English-speaking Humanitude trainers, launching a nationwide talent-search to accelerate this important effort. With hospitals, gero-psych centers and skilled nursing facilities across Europe and Asia experiencing significant success, we are dedicated to solving the challenges of senior care here in America by introducing
the potential of the Humanitude techniques to as many healthcare professionals, caregivers and families as possible.
Join us for a collaborative discussion about these techniques and the record of improved outcomes achieved in countries around the world.
