#GivingTuesday: Supporting Families Living with Memory Loss
With NSSC, memory loss does not mean the end of meaningful activities.
Our comprehensive Memory Care Programs offer essential resources and foster meaningful connections, guiding families through every step of their journey.
Re-launched in 2024, Mind Matters serves as a vibrant, close-knit community where participants can build meaningful relationships. Designed specifically for people with early memory loss, our engaging activities and welcoming environment make every session fulfilling with a wide array of activities that energize the mind and body.
For those needing more support, House of Welcome's (HOW) Day Program provides a friendly environment with structured, therapeutic activities in a cozy, home-like setting. Participants engage in enriching activities and form wonderful friendships, while caregivers have some well-deserved time to themselves.
We understand that caregivers play an integral role in the care journey. We offer a robust Caregiver Support program designed to provide holistic assistance to those who are caring for a loved one experiencing memory loss. The program includes classes and workshops, support groups, one-on-one counseling, and more.
Your support today can help us expand our programming and ensure that our Memory Support Programs continue to thrive. Thanks to a generous matching gift of $2,000 from Artis Senior Living of Wilmette, and $3,000 from an anonymous donor, you can double your impact this Giving Tuesday up to $5,000!
