A&A Café

When visiting our Arthur C. Nielsen, Jr. Campus in Northfield, you are invited to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a light snack at our A&A Café. 

In addition to coffee and tea, the A&A Café's menu features muffins and bagels, soups, sandwiches, and salads. A rotating list of "Daily Specials" includes BLTs, chicken, egg, and tuna salads, pasta salad, and a wide variety of seasonal soups such as summer vegetable, tomato basil, chicken noodle, and seafood chowder.

Our in-house culinary expert Chef Mikey Koerner is excited to serve you! He was born and raised in Deerfield, IL and learned the ins and outs of cooking from his Italian grandmother. Chef Mikey loves to travel and be inspired by cuisines from around the world, incorporating international flavors and techniques into his recipes. In addition to his work at North Shore Senior Center, Chef Mikey and his wife, Diana, own and operate a private chef company that brings the restaurant experience to clients' homes, parties, and special events.
